Support for Kids, Teens & Families Navigating Life’s Challenges
Therapy for children (10+), teens, and families -in English and American Sign Language (ASL)
Growing up isn’t always easy and parenting through it can be just as challenging. Whether your family is navigating big changes like divorce, dealing with conflict, or your child is struggling with emotions, behaviour, or other challenges, you’re not alone.
As a social worker specializing in working with older children, teens, and families, I provide a safe and supportive space where young people, their parents, and caregivers feel understood, respected, and empowered. I work with:
Children (10+) and teens dealing with anxiety, big emotions, anger management, low self-esteem, identity questions, or peer and school challenges
Parents and caregivers seeking tools and support to strengthen relationships and improve family dynamics
Families in transition — including separation, divorce, co-parenting, blended families, and grief
As your therapist, I take the time to understand each person’s unique background, including how your culture, identity, and life circumstances shape what you are going through so that therapy feels respectful, relevant, and truly supportive for your unique situation. Whether I’m helping a teen explore who they are, supporting a child in managing their emotions, guiding parents through difficult transitions, or working with families navigating grief, I work collaboratively, always centering compassion, growth, and practical tools that make a difference in daily life.
I offer therapy in both English and American Sign Language (ASL) to make sure communication is never a barrier to feeling seen and heard.
If you’re looking for meaningful support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’m here to walk alongside you

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I often draw from approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, and compassion-focused parts work, tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients. Social Work
Social workers are regulated health professionals who provide support to individuals, families, and groups. They often specialize in areas such as trauma, attachment disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD. Their therapeutic approach can vary based on their training and theoretical orientation.
In our practice, social workers assist refugee claimants by offering practical day-to-day support and helping them navigate the trauma and challenges they’ve experienced before arriving in Canada. Your social worker will also accompany you to your Refugee Board hearing, ensuring you have support throughout the process.
